In Haiti, the mother in the family is the center of it. She provides for almost all which the family will be needing. That, in fact, is a great significance of the family’s need. It is these mothers in our societies who have kept our ways of life since the days of the Ancient evermore promising today. No matter how challenging it had been for them, they’ve always kept our traditions alive and flourishing. They are indeed much like our great mother Èzili Dantò, who always protect her children and her property no matter what. The warriors in our societies who’ve never given up to the enemies even in the face of our defeat. If today we have fallen, because of them tomorrow we will rise. With them around, there is not any trait of fear to be found. The mothers in our societies brings justice, we will bring justice to the world together. When they see her with the knife, they won’t wonder why anymore because she’ll show them why.
